Who are we?
A little bit about us, our names are Amanda and Dillon. We are 33 (Amanda) and 32 (Dillon) years old and our journey as a couple began 10 years ago in 2011. We met through Amanda’s cousin – it was love at first sight for Dillon, we dated for a couple of years before getting engaged and married. Our relationship is based on mutual respect, understanding, and a deep commitment to supporting each other's dreams. Ever since we were together and had dreamt of our future lives together, we have long dreamt of having children and sharing the love we have for one another to our child. We have always envisioned that we would give our future generations the opportunities that we never had, which has only been possible due to the sacrifices our families made for us.
Why surrogacy?
Our desire to become parents is deeply rooted in our love for family, our dedication to creating a home filled with love, and our belief that parenthood is a journey that brings immeasurable joy and fulfillment. After exploring various options, we are excited about the possibility of surrogacy and the opportunity to bring achild into our lives.
Life has not been easy and has been full of struggles for us, and this has made our relationship stronger, we experienced 7 miscarriages, multiple failed IVF cycles, multiple failed IUI cycles, a loss at 22 weeks with our angel baby – Aleena Lily which has brought us to this point. We have embryos left one of which is our baby frozen in time waiting to grow. We are hoping there is still a miracle waiting to happen.
How did we prepare for this journey?
In our family we are committed to providing a loving and nurturing environment for our future child. Our families and friends are enthusiastic about our decision to explore surrogacy, and they are eager to embrace and welcome a new member into our extended family. We believe in open communication, respect, and we are ready to provide a stable and loving home for our child. The choices we made to date, even moving outside of the city were with the thought of having a family, but it has not happened, yet!
